What a way to screw up the last opening day at Yankee Stadium. Get everyone into the Stadium, open up concessions and start making money, don’t say anything at all until 2:00 PM, and then cancel the game when it’s no longer raining.
It didn’t look like it was raining much for a few hours after the cancellation either, but that’s kinda a guess because we were stuck in the top level of the parking garage for an hour and a half trying to leave.
What a great way to begin the season.
